Gipsformer // Plaster molds

Plaster molds making.
Previously made cups/kåsa/scoop-shaped drinking vessel is the starting point for these molds I'm making.
It's going to be super nice if they can make it through the firings... I will load up more pictures soon!
The two small ones are salt fired and the larger one to the left is gas fired and that is also how I'm going to fire the casted shapes, the white one on top.

Tomma Rum in Ljusne

 

During five days I joined the project Tomma rum (http://tommarum.se/)
This year it was in an old power station in Ljusne.
I explored the small town, swam in the lake, picked blueberries, worked with an installation and talked to the others there.
It was really inspiring and interested to be there!

Some results from the Anagama kiln

I got some really nice surfaces from the anagama kiln!! A big range of colours, all very nice together, from orange and pink to grey and green. Amazing! No glaze, just the ashes from the firing, exept for the small rounded shape, that has a dry glaze on.
